What are cookies?

Cookies and similar browser storage technologies are small records used to operate sessions, remember choices, secure forms and—where permitted—measure usage.

Cookie categories

• Strictly necessary: session, login, language, security, CSRF and payment-flow continuity. These are required for the requested service.
• Preference: remembers choices such as cookie settings and optional interface preferences.
• Analytics: helps understand aggregate use and performance. Optional analytics scripts are enabled only after the relevant browser consent where configured. With the same consent, source and campaign tags in advertising/campaign links (such as UTM parameters) may be kept for a limited period in browser local storage to measure conversion origin; this record does not contain e-mail, exam scores, answers or question content. Separately, when anonymous local visitor reporting is enabled, approximate country/city/region may be inferred from the network address without setting an analytics cookie; the raw IP is not stored for this report.

Managing choices

The cookie banner allows acceptance or rejection of optional analytics. The choice can later be changed through the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. Browser settings can also delete or block cookies, but blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent login, checkout or exams from functioning.
